Woodhall Spa continues to experience change and development. A Neighbourhood Development Plan is a statutory planning document, prepared by the community, which sits alongside East Lindsey District Council’s Local Plan and is used in the determination of planning applications. Once adopted, it carries real weight in planning decisions. While a Neighbourhood Development Plan cannot prevent development where it is required, it plays a vital role in shaping how that development takes place. In short, it gives Woodhall Spa a strong, evidence-based voice in planning decisions that affect the future of our village.
