The current lease expires in February 2027 and any new lease needs to be sent to solicitors in order for a new lease to be signed. The Council heard from the three interested parties but felt it is difficult to progress as one of the parties was unable to explain their intentions regarding the Rally Field and would be unlikely to do so before February 2027.

FC17/06/26 To receive a report from the Conservation review meeting on 10th June with Irving Patrick Consultants
ELDC engaged Irving Patrick to review Conservation areas and as such, they were holding engagements events and meeting with Parish Councils. The key takeaway is that the document they will produce will not have the depth that the 2008 Qube report had. The Heritage Committee were represented at the meeting and both the Council and Heritage Committee emphasised how important it was to maintain the heritage and green aspect of Woodhall. It was raised that the Conservation area was disjointed and was it possible to extend the Conservation area? This would have implication for residents. Cllr Watts asked the Consultants if they would be willing to join the NDP engagement events in July and August, which they were.

It was proposed, seconded and unanimously resolved to purchase a litter bin.
